Default new pop ups and ads on every webpage

I've owned my laptop for 6 years, and just suddenly when I browse the internet there are now ads on the sides and the bottom, and also more pop up windows for ads on websites that I know didn't have pop up window ads before. I deleted any recently installed programs but the problem still persists. Some of the ads state they're from "Keep now". I would follow directions on how to fix it the internet but they all suggest downloading some antimalware software that just gives me more viruses. How can I fix this?

Install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from https://www.malwarebytes.org/
and do quick scan

Also, install AdBlock Plus for
Google Chrome - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb and
Mozilla Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

A quick fix for this could be just to uninstall and reinstall your browser. If you're using Firefox or Google Chrome, your preferences can be saved to an account. If you already have an account, then you will not need to do anything else. If you don't, you can make one.

Just look through the removal instructions found a search for:
"Keep now" adware removal

typically only the software product sites include using a specific virus tool, if there are manual methods they will probably be given on some forum results.

This guide at lest discusses multiple solutions

Yes you do have malware. However, this malware is not a big problem as it is not an installed virus. You probably installed something that but a hidden folder that runs processes as application.
Pre-requisite: uninstall AND delete all web browser toolbar applications.
1- Enable hidden folder view in your computer. this is how:
a) Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
b) Click the View tab.
c) Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
2- restart the laptop with disabled wifi. open task manager and check the processes, then open wifi and check processes again. Do not terminate any processes without checking if they are system processes. Locate the name of the shady process. It could be anything from leet to "startup.keepnow" etc.
3- perform a basic search on your laptop's file browser for the name (in this case "keepnow") if your computer is slow, restart with wifi disabled and perform the search. You may want to limit your search to recently downloaded files, recent installations and the like. You may have to delete it more than once for it actually get removed from your computer.
4- Restart your computer and check if the process has disappeared from taskbar. If it has, don't read the next steps
5- If the process is not gone, and you have repeated the steps 2-4 multiple times, then it may be an actual virus. restart your computer on safe mode (F8 for old windows and Shift + F8 for windows 8) and then run the antivirus and internet security on full scan. It should clear the virus.
