Default can trojans change they work to avoid detection

Basically what I'm asking is. Say if I got a Trojan on my PC , can that Trojan view my antivirus and malware program's and set itself to be undetected by those program's

No, it would just do that anyway from the moment it installed if it were possible. They are quite small, simple programs.
