We have already left Algol, Fortran and Pascal...
In your opinion, which languages will be forgotten?

As long as there are mainframes there will always be assembler and rexx . . .

And contrary to popular belief mainframes are NOT going away anytime soon. PCs and servers were not built to handle the I/O that is needed for heavy processing. They are great for real time SAP work but when it comes time to process a couple hundred million records they don't have the channels to handle the I/O
