Is this a good analogy of why abortion is wrong.?

Idea based on the poem 'Welcome to Holland' by Emily Perl Kingsley.

http://www.our-kids.org/Archives/Holland.html

____

You have a plane ticket to Italy (you want a child and have a partner).

You board a plane (you have sex and become pregnant).

It turns out the plane is going to Holland. The plane doors have closed, the plane has already lifted off (you don't want the baby, but the baby is already a developing foetus).

You can't just open the plane door, and jump off. You are to remain in your seat until you arrive at the destination (even if it is not your desired destination).

If you boarded the wrong flight, you must sort that out at the plane's destination - you don't sort it out mid-flight.
People abort babies with downs syndrome you know...
If you want a child, it doesn't mean you want any child (abort because she is a girl, he/she has a disability, etc..)

No. It doesn't explain WHY it is wrong. It does not speak to how humans are made in God's image and killing human life is murder. Whether it's a clump of cells with no brain yet or not nervous system is irrelevant, if you didn't kill the cells a human would have been born.

It doesn't even make sense.

The only way a fetus can be inside of another person's body is with that person's constant consent. The moment that fetus no longer has their consent, is the moment that fetus has to go.

It kind of like one of your friends loosing their job and their house, so you let them stay.
But after awhile you realize that they're just messing up your house, and aren't even looking for a job.
So you kick them out.
And if they don't leave, you can have them arrested for trespassing.
It doesn't matter that you invited them in in the first place. The moment you no longer want them in your home is the moment they have to leave.

Except with pregnancy, the fetus is inside of your body and using your blood, organs, etc.
No one can use your blood, organs, or etc without your consent.
Even if it means the difference between life and death for them.

With a pregnancy, it's risking your health, your life, and your general welfare. You could loose your job, your house, be unable to care for your family, and so much more.

A fetus isn't a person. Next question.

no, that is the analogous poem about Downs syndrome, you cannot steal it to help your bigotry

No... Your analogy doesn't take into account unwanted pregnancy.. And having sex isn't like a plane, I "board the plane" to orgasm, not to get to Italy.

What's wrong with someone jumping out of a plane mid-flight? Its not you whose doing it.

Yes, but sometimes abortion is necessary specially if pregnancy was caused by rape!

Poem sucks. Anyway, no. It's not a good analogy. The issue of deciding to keep a child and raising one is a lot more complex than trying to get to Italy from Holland.
