Default service to email a quote anonymously

I received an email the other day from a no-reply sender (no-reply-6381@mailsixau.com). The subject was "Mail A Quote" and the only text was the following:

""The artist alone sees spirits. But after he has told of their appearing to him, everybody sees them.."

- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe"

Does anybody know if there is some service online that allows people to send quotes anonymously?

Thanks.
That's crazy that other people are getting them too. Mine was to a .edu email address as well; was everybody's? And my quote was super relevant to me too; I thought it was directed toward me anonymously, which is why I worded my question as though it was a service. Sounds like it might just be a really pleasant spambot though.

I just got one of these too. Except it says;

""The grim fact is that we prepare for war like precocious giants, and for peace like retarded pygmies.."

- Lester B. Pearson"

How very strange.

Does anyone know what mail-a-quote is and has anyone ever received one? I received mine today through my .edu email, at 5:00pm. It was, ""I am tomorrow, or some future day, what I establish today. I am today what I
established yesterday or some previous day.."

- James Joyce

From: Mail a Quote

This quote seemed relevant... in that I needed it.

Thoughts?

I actually just got one too.....saying:

"Women are so unforgiving of themselves. We don't recognize our own beauty because we're too busy comparing ourselves to other people.."

- Kelly Osbourne

Weird how everyone has a different quote and was emailed to .edu address

I guess it's reassuring others got the same type of email? Mine was also sent to my university address, from no-reply-48487@mailtwoya.com.

The quote: "Always remember that the future comes one day at a time.."
- Dean Acheson

I may report this to our university's IT department, as we had a massive security breach at the beginning of the semester and several phishing incidents. Good luck, everyone.

"Poetry is always slightly mysterious, and you wonder what is your relationship to it.."

- Seamus Heaney
[sent from no-reply-84951 @ mailsevenya . com]

Pertinent, mysterious. Sent to a .edu email in WI. I don't think I will reply.

so, it seems as if this website popped up only ten days ago on November 3rd, 2013, registering through GoDaddy.com LLC (a site that allows you to register your domain)

here's a website giving some info about it. It says the server location is in Paris, France.
http://www.statscrop.com/www/mailsixau.com

I also received mine through a .edu address from an institution in Ohio.

OH, NC, WA, WI...seems country-wide.

You can actually go to their website, Mail a Quote. Here are all the addresses from the previous answers and from myself:

mailtwoya.com
mailtwoau.com
mailsixau.com
mailfourau.com
mailfiveya.com

I actually did visit (one of their) sites, and it *does* have an option to enter an email address if you think you got an "unsolicited email."

Oh, and because they really are interesting quotes to read (!), here's mine:

"Beauty attracts us men but if, like an armed magnet it is pointed, beside, with gold and silver, it attracts with tenfold power.."

- Jean Paul

hopefully we can get more information on this new and mysterious website soon. I like Kyle B's hypothesis:

" Maybe someone is sending lots of emails to random combinations of names, seeing which ones bounce, and saving the rest as valid, active addresses? I can't see what other purpose a plain text email would be serving, other than perhaps probing other aspects of different institution's email infrastructure. The purpose of the different quotes could be to evade spam filters."

alright, so, umm...imma go head to class now...

I also got one sent to my email which is edu email as well, which is also my last name, so I don't think it is someone just sent it to me randomly because I don't have a common last name. I go to UW-Madison, anyone else from there? So far it looks like we all go/went to different schools.

May I also point out that it appears we all got these emails within the last 24 hours.

Mine said

"Loved. You can't use it in the past tense. Death does not stop that love at all.."

- Ken Kesey

It's a nice quote nonetheless, and like other people have commented it is kind of relevant to what is going on with my life right now... which is even more creepy.

This morning I found mine, sent to my .edu address, and it freaked me out. Here's the quote:
"Religion is induced insanity.."
- Madalyn Murray O'Hair
I was quite irritated, as a religious person, especially after I looked up the lady who said that quote. This anonymous email is not encouraging at all, not like some people mentioned here. I was pretty offended.
But thanks for those who gave possible answers to this question. I feel better now.
