So today I was working on a project for school when this pesky virus found it's way onto my computer. I ended up entering safe mode with networking and deleting any and all files modified today, then started up my computer normally.
The lock down is now gone but now avast has been blocking the same program about every 10mins or so, which I believe is the virus trying to start itself up again. Not only that, Adobe flash player will also try and update about every 10 mins which I believe has been infected. Other than problems listed above my computer runs just like before this happened. But, the problems a somewhat annoying and I do not wish to keep a partial virus on my computer. Anyone know how to remove it completely? |

All I can think of is to set your computer back to 'factory settings'. This means it will be exactly how it was when you first bought it.
How you set it back to factory settings depends on what type of computer/laptop you have and what version of Windows you are using. Try Google-ing a guide on how to set your type of computer back to factory settings if you choose to do this. Good luck, and I'm sorry I couldn't help much. |
