I have two computers- one uses Avast, and the other uses Malwarebytes. What antivirus do you use on your computer? I like Avast, Avira and Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, and Panda are bad, Microsoft Security Essentials and AVG are horrible! Don't use VirusBuster- it's bad too.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. Never had a problem. There have been times whereI knowingly opened a bad email or visited a bad website in which case I ignored the warnings.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is the best free anti virus. I like another anti virus that is NORTON(not free).

I use Avast too -free home edition. and another secondary security tool I found recently - Anvi Smart Defender. I don;t mind installing one or two more as long as they are not that resource consuming. Anvi is light and stable anyway.

MS Security Essentials and Advanced System Care 5 on a daily basis. I also run Windows Defender and MaliciousSoftware Removal Tool every few months.

Avast is a quite good anti-virus program. But Malwarebytes is not an anti-virus program, it only detect malware, it's dangerous for your computer if you install only Malwarebytes on your other computer. I advice you install both Avast and Malwarebytes on your computer, Avast for real-time protection, while Malwarebytes for regular malware scanning.
By the way, I use ESET and Anvi Smart Defender. Anvi Smart Defender is quite similar to malwarebytes, but it's free. |

You should not be running Windows as an adminstrator I suggest you made a standard user profile for use on a daily basis. If virus's and malware are a major concern I suggest using the durable and free Linux distro. like Ubuntu Mint or Fedora the US spyplanes and most all webservers (Apache) go with linux for a reason...good luck.
